About Tom Carlson

I’m Tom Carlson, and I grew up working in the family business, Fairview Florist. I know how to combine my knowledge of products and brands to bring you the price and value you deserve. Fairview is Janesville’s second-oldest family-owned retail business, founded in 1890 and owned by the Carlsons since 1927.

Fairview Patio has sold high-quality casual and patio furniture for more than 50 years. Because of our low overhead, Fairview can offer casual furniture in any style, fabric, or finish at about 50% off the retail price!

Because I do not have a retail store, I do not have these products in stock and cannot immediately furnish your deck or patio. But, this also means that I have no overhead and can pass the savings onto my customers. If you can wait for delivery, it will be well worth the time an money.

I am not limited to what is displayed on a showroom floor. I work with several manufacturers and brands, and can offer you every style they sell, in all finishes, and with your choice of more than 100 fabrics.

So, instead of limiting your choices to what’s in stock, I can get you what you want and should be able to offer a lower price than in a retail store.

To get started, we can talk on the phone or via Zoom, anytime between 9AM and 9PM, Monday through Saturday (Central time). I’ll share my knowledge of casual furniture from my 50+ years experience, walk you through all the options, and help you establish a budget. Then, you decide what direction to take in furnishing your patio, deck or sunroom.
